Hidden prodigy? Rudi Perez took his first stage
Rudi Perez, Megaman, had it all when the ending of Halifax Grand Prix was near. With a perfect position in the peloton, all he had to do was timing his sprint - and he succeeded. As he raised his arms, he could look back and see Judah Bukowski and Rastislav Gašpar fighting for the second and third place several metres behind himself.
As we got close to the finishing line, I suddeny realized I had my chance today said a surprised winner. When the other sprinters launched the sprint, I just followed along, and I even managed pass them in the end.
The stage couldn't turn out any better than this. Rudi Perez did a perfect job today, said Lencko, manager of Megaman, after the race.
